Events Simplified has an unusual approach to events – we like to be involved, to be part of your creative team when it comes to designing events.
Our founder, Carol Barnes, has an unusual background that brings two worlds together, seamlessly.
As a former management consultant, Carol introduced the idea of combining project management, RACI charting and storyboarding to the events we create for our clients. The result? Stunning events that flow seamlessly from idea to happy delegates.

It’s our willingness to pick up the pieces when things go wrong. We have won some of our key clients because they originally planned their own events and came to us for advice when things hit the fan. Not only did we give that advice freely, but in many cases, we took on handling and resolving the issue for them saving the clients’ money, hassle and time.
Do we charge for this service? No! And nor is it a requirement to use our services to plan future events but the reality is, once clients see the lengths we’re willing to go for them, it builds trust and loyalty so they do tend to plan all future events with us because they know we always do things that benefit them. ​

Developed by Walt Disney Studios in the 1930s, storyboarding is used in film, theatre and now by Events Simplified to create the perfect event, from concept to completion, for each and every event in your calendar.

Our creation process is the logical first step in meeting design.
This first step is where the event idea is born. The storyboard helps to both create the idea and communicate it clearly with stakeholders. Using storyboarding as our creative starting point will make meetings, conferences or special events more meaningful, more unique and best of all, more personalised to the audience for greater impact and higher ROI.
