Gala dinners work for so many occasions – Christmas parties, business anniversaries or fundraisers for example.

After all, a gala dinner isn’t just any old meal out, is it? When a charity asked us if we could help them celebrate their 10th anniversary with a little get-together, it felt like a real shame to let such a milestone pass by with a whisper!
Fortunately they started talking to us in the very early stages of their thought process…so we got creative!
Speed of Sight said they were wowed by Events Simplified and everything we managed to do to make the event so much more than they imagined it could be. It also turned out to be the biggest fundraiser they had held in all their 10 years and now we are working together regularly to maintain that momentum.
So what did we do?
We created a gala dinner for 250 people in a manor house, with entertainment, full production and lighting to highlight their brand and food to delight. The chef at De Vere Cranage Hall produced 250 perfectly soft-poached egg starters delivered to tables by immaculate service staff.
Ultimately the event cost the charity nothing – all was paid for through ticket sales, silent auction and raffle profits, which also left a very healthy sum to begin their 11th year with.
